New Lamp

Okay, so I loved my new lamp so much that I got a second one. I couldn't help myself. It's totally different from the first though. I love the lamp shade; the light shines through leaves and vines that are carved out of wood. Now, when I come home, I immediately turn out all the lights in the house so I can bask in the warm glow of my lamps!

Oh! Also, I must add that Joe and I had a great Japanese feast this weekend at his co-worker's house. It was the first time we'd been invited over to a Japanese home. Joe had brought him and his wife a bunch of fish and so his wife (I suspect) cooked it up for us. The fish is called "gurakun". It's pretty small and they just deep fried the whole doggone thing, head and all. I wasn't sure how to eat it so I watched the wife. She picked the entire fish up with her chopsticks and maowed it down.

I took a good look at the fish sitting on my plate. I can eat just about anything if it's fried up enough and this thing sure was fried. I picked him up (with my hands), stared him in the fried eyeballs and bit his head off. I was a savage! And...umm...not bad...in for another bite.

Comments:
LMAO!!! Good for you Kelly. Eating like a savage and all. Glad you didn't get wigged out by staring at it in the eye's before biting off it's head!! :) Angel
